Heather Shaw Menis
FOUNDER
After 15 years of public relations and marketing experience, Heather Shaw Menis left the corporate world to pursue her entrepreneurial goals. Her mission; to bring corporate know-how to small and locally-owned fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and design businesses looking to establish their brand in the DC market and beyond. From directing local marketing efforts for Saks Fifth Avenue to launching boutique hotels and fine dining restaurants in DC, Heather has built a vast network of contacts in the DC market and the luxury market nationwide.
She has added value to both for-profit and non-profit organizations by connecting these entities in creative and mutually beneficial ways. A passionate publicist, Heather has worked on award-winning campaigns while at two of the DC area’s top public relations agencies. She also maintained a 50 to 1 Return on Investment for local marketing events at Saks Fifth Avenue. Her work in-house for both the iconic international fashion brand and one of the fastest growing hospitality companies in the country taught her how to most effectively increase revenue via multi-lateral campaigns.
Kaya
Seaman
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Kaya Seaman graduated from Louisiana State University, where she received a BA in Mass Communication. Before she attended LSU, Kaya attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she was recognized as a top student in the Communications department.
At the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Kaya ran Division I cross country and track while managing the team’s social media and also being the Social Media Coordinator for the Public Relations Student Society of America. She is looking forward to using the knowledge she gained through her rigorous university courses to support Fifth and Main and their clients.
Julia
Savelson
PUBLIC RELATIONS & MARKETING INTERN
Julia Savelson is a public relations student at the University of South Carolina minoring in business administration. Driven by a passion for social media outreach and marketing, Julia has
excelled in leadership roles, including Vice President of Digital Communications for the Public Relations Student Society of America and Instagram Coordinator for Blossom Magazine, a
student-run fashion publication. Through these positions, she has honed her skills in brand development, media presence, and digital content execution.
Julia's ambition for new experiences recently took her to Barcelona, where she completed a semester abroad in the spring of 2024. She is eager to apply the knowledge gained from her personal and academic experiences in her role at Fifth & Main, where she will further develop her expertise in public relations and marketing with upscale lifestyle-consumer clients in
the DC area.
Diana
Ho
OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Diana Ho is an experienced public relations professional with a background in account management, communications, and event coordination. She began her career at a leading DC political communications firm, working closely with senior leadership to deliver advocacy and media relations strategies for a high-profile client. These efforts supported national initiatives aimed at increasing high school graduation rates and public access to technology.

At a global event company, she provided comprehensive support to the executive team, facilitating seamless day-to-day operations and handling critical communication across 18 offices worldwide. She joined Northern Virginia Magazine at its inception as a Senior Account Manager, where she built and managed a diverse portfolio of advertisers, consistently exceeding sales targets and cultivating long-lasting client relationships. Her organizational skills and keen eye for detail makes her a crucial asset to the Fifth & Main PR team.
